Hungarian Lotteries Inc had its finest year ever in 2020, with record revenue of over €1.9 billion in 2021, up more than 20% from the previous year.
Sports betting has generated over half of the revenue, with over 480 billion forints, or 1.3 billion forints a day. According to General Manager Alex Bozóki, the company should soon enter the top ten in Hungary, and the percentage growth from 2021 was the second greatest in the past 15 years, owing to its efficient handling of the Corona crisis, newly introduced products, and numerous advances.
